DESCRIPTION:
TimiRhein SO is a solution containing Tilmicosin phosphate to be administered in drinking water of poultry, pigs and calves.
INDICATIONS:
TimiRheinSO is a macrolide antibiotic, synthesized from tylosin. For use in the symptomatic and specific treatment of the respiratory diseases associated with Pasteurella and Mycoplasma species in ovines, beef cattle and cows at drying off. Porcines: For treatment of respiratory diseases in porcines asociated to
Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae. Pasteurella multocida, Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae and other organisms sensible to tilmicosin. Poultry: For treatment of respiratory diseases in poultry asociated to Mycoplasma
gallisepticum and Mycoplasma synoviae. Calves: For treatment of respiratory diseases in calves asociated to Mycoplasma haemolytica. Pasteurella multocida, Micoplasma bovis, Mycoplasma dispar and other organisms sensible to tilmicosin. TilmiRhein SOis a wide spectrum antibiotic effective against Gram positive, Gram negative bacteria and mycoplasmas: Pasteurella haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida , Haemophilus somnus, Mycoplasma dispar, Mycoplasma bovirhinis, Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus agalactiae, Actinomyces pyogenes, Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae, Moraxella boris, Clostridium perfringens, Fusobacterium necrophorum.
DOSAGE AND USE:
Porcines: The dose is 10 to 20 mg /kg per day, equivalent to 175 to 350 mg of TimiRhein L/liter of drinking water, that is 70 to 140 ml per 100 liters of drinking water. Poultry:The dose is 10 to 15 mg / kg per day, equivalent to 50 a 75 mg of TilmiRhein SO / liter of drinking water, that is, 20 to 30 ml of product/ 100 liter of drinking water. Calves: The dose is 12.5 mg/kg b.w. equivalent to 1 ml of product/ 20 kg b.w.
Porcines: Continuous treatment during 10 days. Poultry: Continuous treatment during 5 days.
Calves: Continuous treatment during 3 to 5 days. One bottle of 240 cc of TimiRhein SO is useful to treat between 171 litres and 342 litres of water in the case of porcines, between 800 litres and 1200 litres of water in the case of poultry, and is enough to treat 120 calves of 40 kg of average weight each.
WARNINGS:
The product must be stored in its original container.
Keep out of the reach of children.
Avoid direct contact of product with skin and eyes.
People with known hypersensitivity to the drug must avoid contact with product.
Operator must wear mask, goggles, overall and rubber gloves.
Keep adequate ventilation when product is applied.
Use with care in pregnant animals or those confined for rearing.
It is advised to prepare the daily quantity to be consumed.
Do not use prepared solutions exceeding 24 hours preparation.
Keep at a temperature between 10 and 35°C .
Use restrictions:
Do not administer in animals producing eggs for human consumption.
Withdrawals: Porcines: 14 days.
Poultry: 12 days.
Calves: 42 days.
