MUCOLYTIC - EXPECTORANT SOLUTION

 

FORMULA:
Each ml of product contains:  
Bromhexine Hcl ..........................10 mg
Diluent Solution q.s. ..................... 1 ml 
INDICATIONS:
Solution for the oral treatment of poultry, porcines and bovines.

PRESCRIPTION:
Bromhexine is a benzylamine with expectorant properties. It is used by itself or combined with antimicrobials for the treatment of respiratory diseases, where there is a damage caused to the mucociliary capacity and viscous mucosity. 
It reduces the viscosity of the pulmonary secretion and induces respiratory stimulation. It is a collaborating agent in treatments with antibiotics and chemotherapeutics for bronchitis and bronchopneumonia, viral pneumonias and secondary processes derived from pulmonary verminosis.
It acts as mucolytic and secretolytic, clinically efficient in the reduction of mucus viscosity, facilitating the expectoration process.
ADMINISTRATION:
Oral administration, dilute in drinking water, taking care that this be the only water provision during medication.

DOSAGE AND USE:
0.5 mg/kg body weight per day. Bovines: 15-20 ml/day. Porcines: 4-5 ml/day. Poultry: 1 ml/day.
Poultry: 0.25 to 0.50 ml of product per liter of water.
Pigs: 1.5 to 2 ml of product per liter of water.
Suckling pigs: 0.5 ml of product per liter of water.
Bovines: 2 a 3 ml of product per liter of water.
Calves: 0.5 ml a 1 ml of product per liter of water.
Duration of treatment: 5 consecutive days.
Consult your Veterinarian to adjust the dose according to the needs of the case to be treated.

WARNINGS:
Avoid direct sunlight on the stored product.
Keep in a dry, cool, place at a temperature between 
4 and 35 C
Keep this and all medicines out of the reach of children.
The operator must use eye goggles, mask, rubber gloves and overall. 
Keep adequate ventilation.
Do not contaminate water, meals or food with product leftovers. 
Do not puncture, pierce or cut the container.
In the event of accidental contact with eyes or skin, wash with lots of soap and water, if irritation persists, call a physician.
Use restrictions:
The meat of treated animals must not be released for human consumption before 72 hours of the last treatment.
Do not use this product in animals whose eggs or milk are destined for human consumption.
