DISINFECTANT FOR NESTS
FORMULA:

N-chloro-4-methyl benzene sulfonamide, sodium salt ............................... 1 g
Calcium propionate q.s. .......... 100 g
DESCRIPTION:
Rheinamide is a powerful disinfectant specially formulated for dry applications in poultry nests. It is easy to apply and does not require the absence of workers for its action.
ACTION:
This is a wide range disinfectant, with a bactericide effect on gram negative and gram positive bacteria. Due to its very low toxicity, low vapor pressure and easy application, it replaces the use of smoke-producing tablets, controlling fungi contamination on the nest litter.
INDICATIONS:
Rheinamide is a product recommended for the disinfection of poultry nests. Its effective action results in more aseptic nests and also less contaminating eggs.
DOSAGE AND USE:
To keep control in the event of contamination of poultry nests. Each nest must be treated (sprinkled) with 10 grams of Rheinamide (equivalent to the measure indicated in the container), repeating the action every 3 or 4 weeks, according to weather conditions and/or the sanitary state of the nest.
WARNINGS:
The product must not be used within environments where eggs for human consumption are being produced.
Take the precaution of using adequate garment and gloves, as well as eye protection for those people in charge of spraying the product.
There might be skin irritation after the contact with unprotected skin.
After inhalation there might be irritation of mucous membranes, cough and breathing difficulties.
Eye irritation may occur after contact with eyes.
After ingestion, the product may cause burns in the mouth, pharynx, esophagus and gastrointestinal tube.
Antidote: Ascorbic acid in aqueous solution 1% or sodium thiosulfate in aqueous solution 2%.
First aid: After inhalation, breath fresh air, call a physician.
After contact with skin: Wash the area with abundant clear water, extract the product by way of cotton soaked with polyethylene glycol 400.
After contact with eyes: Wash the area with abundant clear water, keeping eyelids wide open (at least during 10 minutes). Immediately call an ophthalmologist.
After ingestion: Drink lots of water (various liters), avoid throwing up. Do not carry out neutralization procedures.
Keep out of the reach of children.
Keep this product in original container at temperature 4º and 30º C.
