FORMULA:
100 ml of product contains:
Doxycycline hyclate                                10 g
Excipients q.s                                      100 ml
(Equivalent to 9.02 g of base doxycycline)
DESCRIPTION: 
DoxiRhein is a liquid preparation to be diluted in drinking water for poultry and pigs.
The active ingredient of the product, Doxycycline, permits to prevent and control diseases attacking pigs and poultry. 
Advantages: Quick intestinal absorption. Quick diffusion to tissues. Slow renal excretion.
INDICATIONS:
Tetracyclines are the first class of Wide spectrum antibiotics to be introduced into clinical practice. They are highly active against a broad list of Gram positive andGram negative bacteria, both aerobicaland anaerobical, as well as against sensitive microorganisms among which we can find: certain species of Mycoplasmas, Rickettsias and Chlamydias pertaining to the lymphogranuloma group, psittacosis, as well as protozoa and pathogen fungi.
Doxycycline is presented as better alternative, because it adds to its broad field of action, a fast oral absorption, a wide distribution in the organism and a safe and simple handling of the product.

PIGS
Control and treatment of enterical and respiratory infections, such as atrophic rhinitis, enzootic pneumonia, Haemophilus –caused pneumonia, necrotic enteritis, non-specific enteritis, dysentería, post weaning diarrhea, porcine intestinal adenomatosis, infections associated to Escherichia coli and Salmonella cholera suis, streptococosis, pleuropneumonias, Glasser disease, reproductive problems associated to Leptospirosis, problems in joints and articulations caused by Streptococci and Staphylococci.

POULTRY
Control and treatment of virus-deriving diseases, diseases caused by coccidia or Mycoplasma, stress or early death caused by non-specific causes (colisepticemia, duck septicemia, onfalitis, fowl cholera, illness in chicks, coryza, chronic respiratory disease caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum or Mycoplasma synoviae and worsened by Escherichia coli, digestive problems caused by Salmonella enteritidis, Salmonella typhimurium, Moraxella anatipestifer )

WAYS OF ADMINISTRATION:
Oral administration, mixed with drinking water.

DOSAGE AND USE: 
Poultry:
Recommended dose for poultry is 5.50 to 11.0 mg/kg/day. 
Provide 360 to 720 ml every 1,000 liters of drinking water during 3 to 6 days.

Pigs:
Provide 5.50 to 11.0 mg/kg/day. 
Administer 900 to 1,500 ml every 1,000 liters of drinking water during 3 to 7 days.
Treatment is continuous for poultry and pigs.
WARNINGS:
Keep this and all other medication out of the reach of children.
In the event of direct contact with product, wash exposed skin, eyes and mucous membranes with abundant water. 
Use protecting goggles and gloves when administering the product.
Product must be stored in its original package and container. 
Avoid direct sunlight over the stored product.
Keep adequate ventilation. 
Do not contaminate water, food or meals due to storage or residue. 
Do not puncture or cut the container. 
Keep the product in its original container, at a storage temperature between 15º C and 30º C.
Restrictions for use:
Withdrawal period: 7 days in poultry , 13 days for pigs.
Do not use in laying poultry whose eggs are going to be destined for human consumption.
Do not use together with penicillins
