Intrammamary Syringe - Antibiotic

FORMULA:
Composition (each 100 g. contains):
Amoxicillin trihydrate                            3.44g
Cloxacillin sodium (micronized)             3.27g
Excipients q.s                                       100 g

DESCRIPTION:
Intramammary suspension in dosing syringe ready for use     
INDICACIONES:
It is used for anti-infectious treatment of clinical and subclinical mastitis in cows during the lactation period.  
Effective against bovine mastitis-related Gram-positive and Gram-negative microorganisms. 
Cloxacillin has 2 relevant effects:  It is resistant to beta-lactamase (penicillinase) and it shows bacterial activity, together with amoxicillin. 
Susceptible gram-positive germs:   
Staphylococcus aureus, producing and non producing penicillinase, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Staphylococcus caprae, Staphylococcus cromogene, Streptococcus agalactiae, Streptococcus uberis, Streptococcus disagalactiae,
Corynebacterium pyogenes
Susceptible Gram-negative germs: Escherichia coli, Klebsiella spp, Haemophilus spp

DOSAGE AND USE: 
Before administering the content in the syringe, milk and disinfect the affected teat. Insert the content of one syringe into each affected teat through the teat canal. It must be administered every 12 hours, as indicated, for three consecutive milking processes (milking performed every 12 hours), i.e. three applications. 

WARNINGS:
Before administering the content in the syringe, milk and disinfect the affected teat. 
Do not mix with other substances or solutions in the same syringe or teat canal. 
Apply the total content of the intramammary syringe. 
We recommend that at least 3 syringes be administered per affected teat.  
Do not reuse the container for subsequent treatments. 
Keep in a fresh and dry place. 
Keep out the reach of children. Keep proper hygiene conditions before, during and after the administration of the product.
Any suggested doses and warnings shall, in all cases, be at the veterinarian’s discretion. 
Check that the product is properly sealed and its storage conditions before use are correct. 
Do not use when penicillin-hypersensitivity cases are detected. 
Keep in original container, at a temperature ranging between 5 and 25ºC. Avoid direct sun light contact with the product. 
RESTRICTION PERIOD:
Animals to be consumed by human beings must not be slaughtered until 12 days have elapsed after the last treatment.  
Do not consume milk produced by treated cows unless four days have elapsed after the last treatment.
